Hello City of Fayetteville Residents!
The City’s selected vendor will begin delivering recycling carts to homes throughout the community starting Monday, May 11, 2026.
The cart delivered to your home will be based on the selection you make on this webpage. If no selection is submitted, a default 65-gallon recycling cart will be delivered.
There is no charge for selecting a recycling cart as recycling service is included in your normal trash rate. If you choose to opt out, there is no reduction in your monthly trash rate, which is based on the size of your trash cart.
Please review the options below and submit your selection no later than Friday, April 17, 2026, if you would like a different cart size or wish to opt out of the City’s recycling program.
Available Recycling Cart Options:

| Option 3 | 35-Gallon Cart | Best for 1–2 person households or residents who produce minimal recycling | |
| Option 4 | Opt Out | Residents who opt out of the recycling program will not receive a new cart | |
Reminder: If no selection is made before the deadline, a 65-gallon cart will automatically be delivered to your home.
Important Delivery Information:
- If you received a mailer about this program, your cart will be delivered before the new collection program begins on Monday, June 1, 2026.
- Recycling carts will be distributed Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., May 11–30, 2026.
- Delivery crews may be working in your area without delivering to your specific home that day.
- Please wait until the distribution period is complete before contacting the City, unless both neighboring homes have received carts and yours has not.

Addresses that are not currently enrolled in City sanitation services may not be eligible to participate in this program.
