Greetings, City of Coppell Residents!
In July 2025, the Coppell City Council approved a Renewal Agreement with Republic Services to transition from bagged solid waste collection to a cart-based system. This transition is designed to improve neighborhood cleanliness, enhance efficiency and safety.
The size of the trash cart delivered to your home will be either 95 or 65 gallons, based on the selection you make on this page. If no selection is submitted on or before June 30, 2026, a 95-gallon trash cart will be delivered to your residence by default. Please review your options below and follow the steps provided to make your selection.
Republic Services’ cart distribution partner will deliver carts to homes throughout the community from August through September 2026.

Reminder: If no selection is submitted before the June 30, 2026 deadline, a 95-gallon trash cart will automatically be delivered to your home.
Important Delivery Information:
- If you received a mailer about this transition, your new trash cart will be delivered before trash cart collections begin on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
- Carts will be distributed Monday through Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., during August and September 2026.
- Delivery crews may be working in your area without delivering to your specific home that day.
- Please wait until the distribution period is complete before contacting Republic Services, unless both neighboring homes have received a new cart and yours has not.
